Need to install InDesign 16.4 and it's not showing up in "older versions"

My design team has needs to backsave InDesign files. I need to install vers 16.4 while also running the current CS 2026 version. Current dropdown goes back to version 20.0 in CC app. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. The reason InDesign 16.4 doesn't appear under 'Older Versions' in the Creative Cloud Desktop App is that Adobe only provides downloads for the latest version (N) and the version just before it (N-1). If I may ask, what's the reason you'd like to install an older version?

I work for a company, one of its departments manufactures rubber stamps on a lazer machine. The stamps info is created in an InDesign file but the software for it is legacy. The team has found that InD 16.4 is the last compatible version that works but only one member of the design team has the old version installed. He's running 16.4.3 and most current. I was looking to do the same - we have a team creative cloud license.

Hi @Jan__B , You should be able to save as an IDML file, which can then be opened in the printers ID 16.4 version.
