I have about 15 mostly single page indd files that I need to merge into one InDesign file so I can run a script to change page size. Anyone know how to do it? Book option doesn't work.

Drag pages from the page panel to the other document.

I should have specifiec. I'm looking for better way than to individually drag pages. I know how to do that.

For 15 pages it's not so much time consuming.
Do you have to do this more often?

Open up the documents and use the Pages panel's Move menu to move the pages from one document to another. I would create a "master" file that is a copy of one of the others. That way, if something messes up, you can start over.

Check out the Merge files script by Michael Zaichenko.

Good script. However, it split all the document text frames!

To merge multiple INDD files into one InDesign file, open a new or base document, then go to File > Import > InDesign Document (or use the Page > Insert Pages script if available). Unfortunately, InDesign doesn't natively support importing INDD files directly, so a common workaround is to export each file as PDF, then place the PDFs into a new document, or use a free script like "MergeDocs.jsx" or "MultiPageImporter" to automate bringing in the pages. This way, you can apply your page size script across all pages in a single file.

That is utter nonsense. While I'm not big fan of it, InDesign can most certainly import other INDD files.
