Newbie question

Hi ! I am new to InDesign and I have a few questions. I'm trying to find templates for a cookbook that we can use from Adobe stock (sample: https://stock.adobe.com/de/search?load_type=search&is_recent_search=1&search_type=recentsearch&k=ind...) Questions are:

Could we use it for a commercial book?

Could be buy it without a subscription?

If we have to make a subscription, could we use it after canceling the subscription?

Thank you!

Yes, no, yes.

My advice: Hire a professional.

You start with page one, then keep adding pages for each recipe you have. Add photos and if you want to have a logo or deign you need to put it on the master page. This way when you add a new page it will be there. But as BobLevine says you may want to hire a professional. This is a lot of work to learn.

Thank you both! We are actually planning to hire a professional. Just want to find good templates for our cookbook! 😃

You don't need a template if you hire a professional. I did a cookbook a few years back and trust me, the last thing I would have wanted would to be constrained by something like that.

Hire a pro, show them some books you like and let them do their job.

I agree, no template needed, just set up your page size you would like. And start working on it like I said above.

I suspect templates are out there. Adobe Stock has lots, but only for the book jacket or cover (I think). But what good is a great template if you barely know the software? Books are tricky. Books done properly are even trickier. Hire a professional or forever live a life of not-so-quiet desperation.
