It's possible I missed it, but I don't think so. Photoshop.com looks like a challenge to iPhoto, and since Apple doesn't have it's own competing app for page layout, there's little reason for Adobe to go that route with ID.
That and the fact that the audience for it would be miniscule. Everyone and his brother has a digital camera so photo tools make sense at every level. Not so for pagelayout.
Well I don't know about that. Seems like every secretary on the planet is expected to layout the company newsletter and ads these days. There'd be a market for Adobe Publisher.
They already have MS Publisher as part of Office and there are other lower cost, quite capable pagelayout apps such as Serif Plus. Hell, most of those bosses think Word is a pagelayout app.
There is no business reason I can think of for Adobe to even think about getting into the "amateur" pagelayout market.
Thought I read the other day that MS was dropping Publisher (probably a myth). If it makes sense to get into amateur photography as a stepping stone to moving those people to a paid product, it makes sense to do the same for layout, except I think the amount of effort needed to make a working dumbed-down ID would be ridiculously high for return as long as publisher remains out there as part of office -- people don't seem to see the same need for professional tools for alyout as they do for photography.
I suppose we should count our blessings as forum respondents.
I have been looking for the online version of InDesign some months ago, but actually there are no official versions. In the case you simply want to create a digital publication, you can try out www.joomag.com which features an online editor similar to InDesign, but of course it lacks many features of InDesign.
