Only three "UNDO" steps in CC2019

Since I updated to CC2019 I can only Undo three steps.

Is there anything I can tweak or is another bug from CC2019?

I think I'm gonna use CC2018 till you fix this mess...

    Hi,

This issue seems to happen very rarely.

Do you have any reproducible steps for the bug?

    Hi!

I recently upgraded to InDesign CC 2019.

The same issue is happening to me.

After a certain number of operations (approx. 70) in an existing InDesign brochure of 148 pages, all history steps are disappearing and I see only 2 or 3 steps as I continue to work.

I mention here that I previously bought and installed the latest version of 65BIT EasyHistory plugin. Nevertheless, whatever I do, the same thing happens everytime I open and work in any InDesign file I have.

I have never had this problem with InDesign CC 2018. I am using the same system configuration and all I did was I upgraded to CC 2019.

So the problem must be with this new version of InDesign.

What do you mean amaarora by "reproducible steps for the bug"? Do you need print screen or a video screen capture of this bug to forward this to an Adobe team to investigate?

    Thank you!

    Arthur

How the hell is this an answer? Typical Adobe, patting itself on the back for doing absolutely nothing to address its defective, bloated, overpriced junkware.

I'm unable to replicate the fault on my Mac running the latest update of High Sierra, are you able to let us know what operating system you are using?

Nevertheless, there is a free plug-in from 65bit software you may wish to try that may not only resolve your situation, but is a far better way of using the undo tool. The plug-in provides additional options in the edit menu that allows multiple steps to be backtracked with the undo:

The plug-in can be found here: https://www.65bit.com/download/reg/

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

It it possible to create a case where it consistently happens so that it can be tested?

If so, you should report a bug at InDesign User Voice here:

    Feature Requests/Bugs

Unless it's reproducable, it would be very hard to fix.

Please, Steve, I'm getting that kind of answer over and over again.

Just make sure you try your programs in a real working environment. Make real brochures and magazine layouts and you'll end up finding all the bugs the users report.

Or are you gonna pay us for de debugging task? Are you gonna offer us some sort of disccount on next bill?

Because if I pay a minute late I'm sure I'll be kicked from Creative Cloud with lightning speed...
