The Book File works as a collector to which you can link your InDesign documents.

1. The documents are missing and need to be relinked to the book file

or

2. Permission has to be updated - if you on a Mac Get Info (CMD I)

and update Sharing & Permissions

Hi @Wendy5C32

How are you trying to open it?

  • From the recents list or Home Screen?
  • File > Open?
  • Mac Finder / Windows File Explorer, then right-click?

Do you see the booklet in Finder / File Explorer?

Did you try File > Open or right-click > open from Finder/File Explorer? If not, please try that.
