Opentype Chartwell

Hi I bought the FF Opentype Chartwell fonts to create Charts in indesign. The fonts are installed, I cerated the text, coloured them (11+89) and would like to have a bar chart. So I choose the fonts chartwell bars and click on opentype > Stylistic Sets > and choose the set 1 which is not activated. I could not see why I do not have an active stylistic set1. The font is from the original website, the O of Opentype is behind the font, the font is activated, I do everything like in the tutorials but still miss te active styleistic set 1. How could I activate this?

Many thanks

Nicole

Do you have "Discretionary Ligatures" selected in the Opentype options?

If you are using the bar chart functionality of chartwell, did you know that you can create bar charts with GREP and a fixed width font? https://indesignsecrets.com/turning-numbers-into-bar-graphs-using-grep-improved-technique.php

If you don't want to write the GREP code, there's a script that will make them for you: https://indesignsecrets.com/a-script-for-making-bar-graphs-with-grep.php

I tested it as well using the Chartwell Bars that you said you were using and as soon as I enable Stylistic Set 1, it changes as expected.

On Mac OSX 10.13.6 running IDCC2019 14.0.1, I can't replicate your fault. It works for me just fine.

Top line has no stylistic sets, bottom line has stylistic set 1. Note the entire line was made into that stylistic set by highlighting it and changing it through the character menu.
