Overprint Preview alters RGB colours

I am creating a document in InDesign for web. I always turn on Overprint Preview because if I don't my images and imported illustrations look very pixelated. However Overprint Preview always changes my RGB colours to a dull version.

In Proof Setup > the Device to Simulate is sRGB IEC61966-2.1

In Document Setup > the Intent is Web

In Preferences > Appearance of Black > the Overprint [Black] Swatch at 100% is checked. On Screen and Printing/Exporting are set to All Blacks as Rich Black

In View > Proof colours is checked

So does anyone know what I need to change in order to see the correct RGB colours and un-pixelated images/illustrations?

From the menu bar go to View > Display Performance > High Quality Display. You can also do this on an application-wide basis in Preferences > Display Preferences.

Overprint is a very specific thing based on mixing CMYK colours, so if you use it your RGB colour MUST be converted to CMYK and back again.
