Page transitions issue from InDesign to PDF

Has anyone had any luck getting any page transitions to work from InDesign to interactive PDF? The feature used to work great but then a program update killed it. I have been trying for years to find a solution, but still nothing. Tech support has run the usual routine of resetting preferences and trying a new doc, but the same result...nothing. Is there a solution out there?

Setting transitions in InDesign does not work and setting them in Acrobat does not work.

Page transitions do not work in the Mac version of Acrobat. This is an old bug that has still not been fixed.

That is what I assumed, but thought I would try once more just in case. If I recall, was a Mac OS upgrade that started the problem.

I created a transition test from ID and also applied transitions within Acrobat, and no luck with any of the transitions.

Mac OS 14.7.4

What PDF viewer do you use?

What kind of transcription did you ser up?

Using current version of Acrobat Pro. But have tried to get transitions to work through many versions of both InDesign and Acrobat Pro. Not sure what you mean by your second question.

There are many types of transitions. Not all are PDF compatible. Which one did you choose?
