Paragraph panel missing

Explorer ,
Feb 13, 2020 Feb 13, 2020

The paragraph panel is missing from the right side panels. It doesn't show under Window either. I have restarted the app. And I have the most current version of InDesign 14.0.3. I use this panel all the time and I need it back. I know some of it is on the top panel. I need to be able to access Lock to the Baseline and it's not showing and is always in the paragraph panel on the right side.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

Thanks!

Hi

Instead of just "Window", look under Window > Type and Tables. You can also lock to the Baseline Grid in the Control panel and in the Control panel menu.

Things to try:

Window > Workspace > Reset...

Window > Type & Tables > Paragraph...

Ctrl/Cmd+Alt+T

Reset Preferences...

If you are on a MAC you can click on the help menu which will present you with a search bar, using this you can search the location of any menu item. Just start typing in the name of the menu and if found it will show you the menu location. This works on almost all applications on a MAC.

Hi Manan,

Yes, that's definitely another way to find things. I didn't think of doing that even though I've been on Mac for 30 years and on InDesign for around 10 years!

Thanks for the reminder!
