Hi,

Is it possible to add/asign a page break to a paragraph style? I.e. I have a headings paragraph style, and would like to have an auto page break before each heading.

Correct answer Steve Werner

You should be able to do that with Keep Options in your paragraph style. Read about it in this Help file:

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/formatting-paragraphs.html#control_paragraph_breaks_using_keep_options

I think you need the Start Paragraph options.

Thank you, however this is exactly the kind of 'non-answer' ("go look here!") that this site is riddled with. Not helpful nor does it directly answer the plain common question. 😞

@brandbryce,

@Steve Werner did indeed give you full information in his first reply: the setting is in the Keep Options portion of the style definitions.

He then provided additional references where you could learn more details about the feature.

Therefore, your comment is inappropriate and out of line.
