Permission from IT administrator required enable apps management

This image popped up on creative cloud as I was trying to install Indesign. Not sure why as it is my personal computer.

Ah. That's the point.

You are blocked by your IT admin to install software on your machine.

Contact the IT department. They have the say on your machine.

They should be able to help you.

Coording to https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.html current version of Indesign requires 10.15 or higher, so that could be the issue and the error message is a red herring.

Are you set up as an adminitrator account?

No it is my personal mac

Do you have the ability to install other programs? I don't know what sort of users rights are enabled by default on Macs these days.

Have you tried rebooting?
