Pin template to Welcome Screen

As the topic title suggests, is it possible to pin a template, perhaps even more than one, to the welcome screen.

So that, when one opens InDesign, the Welcome screen has the template in a pinned position?

If there is any confusion, i am talking about pinning, in the same sense that you can pin recently used folders in Windows 10 (In the Quick Access tab)

The main idea behind the question is to avoid searching for the template every time, but have InDesign remember the location and have it shown as a quick-pick/start option.

To further elaborate, the current template is located on a company local server and i have the template in my "Open a recent item" section of the Welcome Screen, but that's just cause I've been the one developing the template, not every other employee has this template in their "open a recent item" section and there is a wish to avoid having to search for it every time, since not everyone will be using it regularly and thus might forget the file path.

Best Regards WCPM.

Correct answer Steve Werner

That is not currently possible. You would need to make a feature request on the InDesign User Voice website so the engineers can see it and those who are interested can vote for it to assess how many people are interested in that feature:
