Hi team, I’m currently facing a problem. This is the second time my InDesign file has encountered Error Code 6 and become damaged. I’m unable to open the file. I urgently need this file at the moment, so I would really appreciate your help in fixing it. Thank you.

What are your InDesign and operating system versions? Does it happen with the same file or different ones? Can you recover an earlier file version from backup?

Yes, I have already tried all the suggestions provided by Adobe, but unfortunately none of them worked. I have also sent an email and requested assistance to help repair the file.

Previously, I contacted the Adobe team for file recovery. However, due to an urgent deadline, I was forced to recreate all of my work from scratch, approximately 300 pages, even though the Adobe team successfully repaired my damaged file three days later. I truly hope that the Adobe team will be able to recover my file again this time, as this file is extremely important for my work. I am currently using the latest version of InDesign 2026.
