Polygon tool causes hold-up in InDesign CC

When using the polygon tool in InDesign CC 2018 i cannot push the OK or QUIT-button to close the tool window. So i have to shut down InDesign.

Anyone who can help me to fix this bug?

That's an odd one. Have you tried trashing preferences?
