Presets not showing in New Document setup

Hello,

Can anyone help me please. When I initially start a New Document none of the presets are visible. All I have are black boxes. When I click on show preview nothing happens. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust?

I'd suggest restoring your InDesign preferences and caches. That usually solves the problem of missing elements in the user interface. Here's how:
