print window shows "save" but not "print"

I am using ID CC 2018 and an Epson XP-640 printer. Today I printed an ID document twice, made some changes, and tried to print again. Now the ID print window shows "Save" where the "Print" button should be. This saves the setting (which is irrelevant, as it's the default). I've restarted ID, replaced the preferences, and restarted the computer. I've also replaced the printer in system preferences. I was able to save the document as a PDF and print it, which indicates there is a sudden ID problem

In your Print Window does your "Printer:" show as PostScript Files as in the screen shot below? In that case you would get the "Save" option rather than the "Print". If you change the Printer back to your printer in that field then the problem should be gone.
