Trying to save a file for printing a 2-up saddle stitch booklet, page size is A4, paper size A3. I can not choose A3 paper size and I believe this has to do with the driver. Should the printer be Postscript file? How is it possible to save this booklet as a PDF for printing on A3? Running Mac OS 11.4

You need the Acrobat printer description file available here: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/add-acrobat-ppd.html

That said, these days it's really recommended to export a normal single-pages PDF and do the booklet printing using Acrobat's booklet feature.

Hi @ktbklyn ,

as Peter already said, "Generic PostScript Printer" is the wrong setting. You need to install a different PPD.

Alternatively work around the issue at all and try Rob Day's script for InDesign: Export Printer Spreads
