Question

Printing booklet spreads with bleed??

Hi, this has been driving me nuts. I am creating a double sided tabloid size brochure, and the printer wants spreads with crop marks. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to impose the first and last pages with bleed. The document is set up as 8.5x11 with facing pages.

Using Print Booklet imposes the pages perfect. But forces the page size to 11x17, thus cutting off the marks and bleed, and there's no option to adjust the 'paper' size. (Capture)

Using Export with Spreads and Two Up Continous options selected, it does the inside pages, but leaves the covers seperate. (Capture2)

Thanks in advance!

Go New Export Preset/ Marks and Bleeds/ you can control your crop marks here. I usually put a preset name for the printer and then you can just pick the name when exporting and for the job as needed.

Hope this helps.

Find another printer. Imposition is NOT your job; it's theirs.
