Problem uploading a published document to edit

I hope there is someone out there to know the answer to my issue.

I published an art brochure and need to edit some of its content. 
However, I cannot open it in Indesign to do it. There is no way. Or is there?

InDesign can only OPEN an InDesign file. What file format is your "art brochure" stored in?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I created the brochure in Design and published it.

When I want to open it again to edit it, there is no facility to do that.

The info I found says that I should select the document on the published online list, which I do. But from there, I cannot open it in InDesign. I hope I am clear on what I am trying to explain.

Open the InDesign document using the same Adobe ID account that created it.

Edit the InDesign file
Publish online - and choose to update the document online.

Hi Eugene,

according to the info you shared, I should be able to bring the document back into inDesign to edit from the Published Online page, but it does not give me any option to do that.

There must be something wrong, but don't know what it is.

Do you have the original InDesign file.

The file published online is only the pdf

You need to edit the InDesign file

Sorry for not getting back to you to say Thank you. It is all sorted.

However, I have another issue that I cannot seem to find an answer to. I wonder if you know it.

The page I am working on there is a background image. There is another image on top that I need it sharp with high res. To explain what that image is about I need a text box with a transparent background so that the image from the background is slightly visible. However, whatever I tried I couldn't stop the image which is on top of the background from being affected when I try to adjust the transparency of the text box. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
