Hi Richard:

If you are in Story Editor view, that would be expected. Ctrl+Y (Cmd+Y on a Mac) will toggle you between editing in Story Editor and Editing in Layout View.

Yes, a manual replace of Preferences appears to have worked. Thanks, Richard
