Problema fuente Titillium web

Hola.

 

Soy maquetador y realizo maquetaciones junto a un compañero que trabaja con MAC (yo uso PC).

Hemos usado la fuente "Titillium web" en varios proyectos porque es TTF y no da problemas de compatibilidad entre PC y MAC, pero desde hace un par de meses nos ha surguido el siguiente problema.

 

Cuando mi compañero maqueta algo con esa fuente en TTF, hace un empaquetado, me lo envía y abro esos archivos, Indesign me dice que falta la fuente "Titillium web (OTF)", cuando esa fuente no tiene formato OTF y en la carpeta del empaquetado está la TTF que es la correcta.

 

Lo "gracioso" es que si yo cambio todas las fuentes y las dejo de nuevo en la TTF, genero un empaquetado y se lo envío, a él le da el mismo error pero en este caso al ser MAC le dice que las fuentes que faltan tienen el formato (TT)...

¿Alguien sabe cual puede ser el problema? Es un problema gordo porque tenemos varios proyectos que usan esa fuente y así se hace muy dificil trabajar.

Translated by the forum software: "Indesign tells me that the font "Titillium web (OTF)" is missing, when that font is not OTF formatted and in the packaging folder is the TTF that is correct."

 

That's an indication that the font was missing once and was substituted, perhaps automatically*, with the OTF version of the font the Adobe Fonts service offers.

 

*Could be that you or your colleague enabled this option that is disabled by default:

Preferences > File Handling > Fonts > [x] Auto activate Adobe Fonts

 

Disable this preference. Also disable Titillium in Adobe Fonts.

Work on with a Document fonts folder where the Truetype fonts are stored as files and the InDesign documents that share the same parent folder with that Document fonts folder can access the Truetype fonts.

Al final lo arreglé eliminando la fuente del PC y trabajando directamente con las fuentes que vienen en el empaquetado, en la carpeta "Document fonts"

    How did you install this font? Maybe you activated it from Adobe fonts and your colleague downloaded it from Google fonts and installed it? (or vice versa). Check the exact versions on each computer and be sure you use both the same.

    Los dos usamos la misma fuente porque nunca tuvimos este problema hasta ahora con esos proyectos, por eso es muy extraño... Barajo la posibilidad de que haya sido un problema con alguna actualización de Windows... no se... Pero es muy desesperante

    Are you absolutely sure it is the same version? The same name is not enough…
