I have created an interactive form with two buttons that link to urls. I've set them as buttons and they have an action Go to URL.
If I export as an interactive PDF:
Desktop - Windows 10, Chrome or Edge: everything looks fine and the buttons work as expected.
Mobile - Android, Samsung Internet: the link works when you tap, but the button does not change appearance. I have an appearance set for Rollover and Click.
If I publish online:
Desktop: the buttons do not work anymore. It's like they've exported as an image
Mobile: the same issue.
I've gone through all the tutorials and settings and can't see what I'm doing wrong 😞
Any help please?
Now that Flash is obsolete some features in Interactive PDFs have changed – you can have a word or words or an image (such as a button shape) as a document hyperlink to say another page in the document, or to an external website.
Some devices, for example, iPads, don't have rollover capability – only click – you should avoid multi-action buttons like On Click, On Roll Over, etc. Multi-state objects (MSO) don’t work at all in Interactive PDFs.
The PDFs you download via Publish Online are static

Thanks Derek.
I just created a blank doc with one button and three states and it worked just fine on the desktop and mobile so I must have done something wrong with my original file. Thanks again.
