Problems with InDesign alternate layout

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to use the alternate layout in InDesign and I have some problems.
I defined a fluid layout with a rule Scale and I defined an alternate layout A5. First, every component is out of its place. But, the worse thing is that the text of some articles don't appear, as shown in the following image.
I tried to extend the text boxes, but things don't change.
Is there someone who can explain me what I'm getting wrong.
Thank you very much!

You have to many columns (space becomes to narrow) on your master/parent page. Work with 1 column, make colums as object property, best in object styles. Align everything to guides.
