Properties Panel

I am new to InDesign and doing the tutorials, however The tutorials all have the "Properties Panel" and I do not.  I have looked everywhere for "Properties to open the panel, but cannot find it.  What do I do?

    The Properties Panel is new to InDesign CC 2019.

    Look under Windows > Properties.

    The Properties panel was introduced in October with the release of InDesign CC 2019 (14.0). If you have an older version of InDesign you won't have it. If your computer meets the minimum requirements, you can update in the CC Desktop app.
