Hi, is it possible to set proportional scaling of objects in Adobe InDesign without using the Shift key? I mean, making it proportional by default and non-proportional with the Shift key—essentially reversing the standard behavior.

Vielen Dank / Thank you

Alas no. But that is why I like the Control Panel with its "Scale X Percentage" field and the "Scale Y Percentage" field. It scales to percentage as well as absolute measure. The constrain proportions button can be on (my preference) or off. I also make great use of the Fitting buttons and the Auto-Fit button on the Control Panel.
