For those who are encountering this issue...I was working in a coffee house and noticed that their firewall blocked certain sites as well as my CC. It would not connect. Once home, everything reconnected and no more errors. Check your wifi connection/firewall and whether you're still logged into CC.

Can you try logging out of Creative Cloud app and logging back in? This has been known to help with a variety of issues.

Are you using a cracked copy of InDesign?

We won’t provide support if you acquired InDesign illegally.

"We won't provide support..."

Are you implying that you're Adobe Staff? Where's your STAFF badge?

Cracking InDesign CC is much less likely than InDesign CS (which used serial numbers) because it's tied to an Adobe ID which can be verified on-line.

Whoops, sorry! Didn’t think people would take it that way.

Also, nope, I’m not trying to imply I’m part of Adobe staff in any way.

I just don’t like sounding informal (for lack of better word).

That's curious because most Publish Online errors are two digits. Here's the troubleshooting guide for Publish Online:

Troubleshoot Publish Online errors

And a Google search doesn't seem to help either.

I'd try uploading a different file to see if you get the same error. Also, the usual troubleshooting techniques: Reboot your computer, restore InDesign preferences.
