When I try to publish my document online, the document shows almost none of my text or pictures. There are no broken links. Am I just doing something wrong?

Yes, I received an email from Adobe today saying that the problem is fixed on their end.

Same! Posting for more escalation! Have tried multiple ways of troubleshooting, but the results are so random/varied in each published version (even when I don't make any changes) that I'm pretty certain this is an Adobe issue and not a user issue. The missing text boxes and images have varied, but I also had a few attempts where it made a small button on page 1 cover the entire page for every page of the document and no other content was published.

UPDATE: tried publishing again this afternoon and all seems to be working correctly now. Hopefully it sticks!

Same problem for me and my team. Mac OS Sonoma 14.1, INDD 18.0. I deleted indd 19.0 and reinstalled 18 because of the missing preferences problem.

Hey everyone,

I am having the same issue. I am trying to update an existing document and after a long awaited upload; pages are blank, text is missing and there are a bunch of weird boxes as if an image were missing in areas text lies. I have restarted, quit, force quit, checked my preflight panel, you name it... now here I am. Relieved it's not an error on my end. Now the real question is, will adobe address this and fix it soon?? This is a live link, that has been shared and it needs to be fixed asap!
If anyone is able to find a solution, I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Exactly the same issue here!

I spent almost two hours with support yesterday. Chatting with an actual person. Got transferred a bunch of times! Said they would look into it and Get back to me on email.

I'm on Ventura 13.3.1 and InDesign 19.0. Created a new document and published the first page that I was having trouble with and it worked. Had to insert a different photo and new textframes.

But same as others this is a document we send out to clients and that is published on our website, and it would be a big job to create a new document. Just adding: most of our document is Linked to other InDesign files, and they are working.

UPDATE 11/8/23 8:30 AM:
Hey all, just wanted to put an update on here with my experience. I tried to update the existing published link just now, and my settings are normally set to PNG for the file I am currently working with. I went ahead and changed the format to JPEG. After publishing I was able to see all my pages and content there, but I did spot some things. Some images in my file have this random white box behind them, although there is no white box in my design file nor in the background of the original photo. I won't be sharing a screenshot of this since this document is confidential but I did attach a sc of what I put in the advanced section when attempting to publish my file again.

Hope this helps....although there still some noticable error on Adobe's end. Really hoping they fix this soon...

I'm currently having the same problem. Something is causing images to appear as missing white boxes. @Steve Werner any word from Adobe? Many of us depend on this feature to send work to clients.

I'm on verson 18.0 for windows. Documents that previously published normally aren't working, with no changes or updates.

Having the same issue, with multiple files on Windows 11 and the latest version of InDesign, viewing published documents in Chrome.

I just posted a very similar post - I believe that something is happening on Adobe's end. We've tried multiple files (one that was confirmed publishing online fine yesterday) and multiple machines/accounts with fully updated InDesign versions and each one has these same missing images on the first few pages.

Same issue. Over 15 different files. Have tried on at least three different computers. Checked updates, etc.

Sometimes it publishes most of the file and then other times nothing. File published early in the day or prior to today still work fine.

InD interactive and media also seems to be having issues.
