QR code in In-design

Hi,

Currently I am making business with QR code in In-design but I can only add two contact numbers to the QR-code. I really need to add three numbers (one for office landline number and two personal mobile number) for the same. Is there any method to this with In-design?

Any answer is much appreciated,

regards.

The InDesign QR code generator is very limited from the forms-driven end. Besides defining just a few fields when many more (and duplicates) are allowed, it encodes vCard codes in v2.1, which is obsolete and causes problems if accented characters are used.

The solution is to bypass ID's forms altogether and write your own code structure using the Plain Text form... at which point ID's feature becomes very powerful and exceptional in that it's entirely secure and private, unlike most online generators and servers.

Here's a detailed primer on how to use InDesign's QR code generator in a completely flexible way. If it's too much and the instructions on how to create a vCard code with the fields you want aren't clear enough, feel free to ask questions, and I can post a working framework for you to copy.

I was wondering if I can have three numbers here? Do you know how I can do that?

By using the Plain Text entry option and adding as many field codes for phone numbers as you like. It can't be done through ID's form.
