"erreur d'impression" sur un traceur

Bonjour,

Does it work if you roll back the Windows update?

Je n'ai pas très envie d'annuler la mise à jour car j'ai mis beaucoup de temps à paramétrer l'ordinateur sous Windows 11 ...

Something about the print pipeline (Adobe Print Engine > driver > spooler) is choking specifically on A1.

Try These Quick Checks
Update the Printer Driver: Go to the plotter manufacturer’s website (e.g. HP DesignJet, Canon, Epson etc) and download the latest Windows 11 specific driver. Do not rely on Windows to auto-install one those are often generic and buggy for large-format output.

Change Print Engine to PostScript (if your plotter supports it)

In the Print dialog > Printer > Setup (or Printer Preferences) try changing the driver or print engine to use PostScript, not the Adobe PDF Print Engine.

Try a Custom Page Size Instead of A1 Preset

Go to File > Print > Setup > Paper Size, and define a custom page size that is exactly A1 (594 x 841 mm), rather than using the A1 preset. Call it “Custom_A1” or similar.

Other potential fixes:
Change the default system printer and then revert back:

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Set a different printer as default.

Then set your plotter back as default.

Reboot InDesign and try again.

------

Try resetting your preferences:
InDesign 19.3 and newer go to Preferences > General > and click on "Reset Preferences on Quit" and then quit and restart.

Or
Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

Never print directly from InDesign - always export PDF and print from Acrobat.
