Hello,

Me and my collegue we work on same InDesign files coming from a server, we both use Windows 10, we have the last version of InDesign, we make sure we don't use the files at the same time. But we are having problems opening InDesign files as it open as READ-ONLY.

We reinstalled InDesign, disconnected our both accounts from InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud, our both Windows System is Updated.

We are confused because we can't work correctly on our files specially when we have to save. Also sometimes the software crashes and we have to go through the task manager to force InDesign to close.

Hi @default32756013z9sdkv,

We are sorry to hear you are unable to open the InDesign file. We would like to know if it happens with this specific file or all files. Would you mind trying the workaround suggested in this post: https://adobe.ly/3LTjnbR and let us know if that helps?

We will try our best to assist you further.

Thanks,

Harshika
