Relinking to a folder

Build 16.4, Mac Big Sur

I've been using this feature for years and after updating to the new build, it's quit working. Even when I know that link is in a particular folder. Packaging is not a good work around as at our organization we have one repository for our images on a server that anyone with access can link to in our department. Any ideas why this would quit working?

Is the entire job including the InDesign file all in the same folder on your server?

No. It never has been in the past, either. The "Relink to Folder" function worked in this capacity until the recent update. Unfortunately, completely changing the file structure of our organization is not a project I can take on. Sounds like I'm just out of luck.

Just to clarify, are you unable to link to any single image in the folder, or is it linking to the one, but not automatically not finding all the other links in that folder? Also, happening on multiple docs?

I am unable to link to any single image in a given folder. And yes, it's happened with multiple documents. I've rebooted multiple times as well.

There have been instances where there would be multiple images I'm relinking to as well – all in the same folder. It can't seem to find anything, even though I can see the files are there. And files names did not change, just the location. For instance, working locally, and then placing the files in the server repository and relinking.
