Remove Share button

How can I get rid of that distracting blue "Share" button in the top right corner, please?

I think that I tried to click on it, and it opened some menu, but now it does nothing.

In Photoshop or Illustrator, it's at least possible to gray out that button...

    Thought this might get addressed in InDesign 2024, but nope. Still blue and no way to change that I can find.

      IT IS THE MOST ANNOYING USELESS unhelpful intrusive feature and causes lags, freezes, artifacts, it is infuriating.

        Regardless of what you want, Adobe wants you to share. It's all about sharing 😕😕
        Remember Quark's hubris? Adobe has inherited it.
        I dislike this company more and more with every release that ignores customer needs.

            I am also in favour of this blue button being able to be set to neutral in ID! Hopefully this will be offered in the next update!

              I'd really like to remove this button too. It stands out a mile in dark mode and is really distracting. I tried clicking it so i could prove to Adobe that I have seen this new button in the hope it would go away or at least blend in with the rest of the interface but its still there burning into my monitor. At least the Lord of the Rings Advert has expired now though so thats something!

                After going through this crap with PS, I really thought Adobe would've implemented a color toggle in InDesign too.

                  Each product team sets its own priorities. Tems don't spend a lot of time try to match their brethren without a good push from users.  Hence the value of User Voice. Vote to make to make it happen!

                    InDesign currently doesn't have a way of making the blue "Share" button neutral.
