Question

Removing blank pages from indd single page document

Can't seem to get this right. I did a print version of an .indd file which has blank pages in it. Now I need to do an EPub file and REMOVE the blank pages. The page layout is single pages but when I go to remove a blank ID tells me there are objects on that page ( even though there are not) If I choose yes the blank remains. I tried this using allow pages to shuffle and allow selected spread to shuffle. Same result

??

Sorry I did not get back to you yesterday got real busy, the indd was created from PLACED text from a word document so whatever blanks were in the word doc they were converted to indd text. All I need to do is to remove the blank pages while retaining the text on all other pages, the original placed text was for a printed book, this now is for an epub and I need all blanks removed.

I hope that is the info you need to help me .

thx

M

Nothing’s changed as far as my advice goes unless all you have is text and nothing but text (in which case I’d go reflowable, but I digress). If that’s the case just find the page breaks and delete them. You could do that with a find/change, I think.
