Removing fonts from a file

Community Beginner ,
Nov 15, 2017 Nov 15, 2017

I have a file that I need to give to a client but I do not want to include fonts and images that I have purchased and they will not be reimbursing me for.

How do I do that?

Thanks

Send them the INDD file without the fonts or links.

But I do want to include some of the fonts and images. Just not the ones that I purchased.

This is really not that complicated. If you don’t want to send them, don’t send them.

I’m not really sure what more anyone can tell you.

Create a package, go to the folders involved, delete the fonts & images you don't wanna send. ZIP the remainder up and give it to them.

How about giving them an Acrobat PDF with security settings precluding them from printing, editing or extracting information from the file?

Or, save pages as TIFFs/JPEGS and placing them into a new InDesign file and then creating that PDF with security settings? That way they could look at it all they want and not get anything more than screen-quality images of the pages?
