My shortcut to resize an image proportionally doesn't work anymore with the update 2021.

Hold down cmd +  Shift key when drag a corner to keep the original proportions of the width and height doesn't work ... Any idea ? thanks

Try rebooting your computer and only open InDesign. Are they working again?

Sometimes other applications will interfere with the InDesign modifier keys. Webroot keeps coming up as a primary culprit.

In Preferences > General, is that new feature turned on or off? The one that makes Content-Aware Fit Scaling on at default? I'm just wild-guessing with you, of course.

Any update to this? I've had this problem since upgrading to 2021 on my laptop, though not my iMac, strangely.

Hi @Kowarler:

Can you tell us what troubleshooting you have done so far?

  1. Have you rebooted the computer and only opened InDesign?
  2. Are you running an anti-virus or anti-malware app (like Webroot) on your new laptop?
  3. What version of InDesign (exactly, not "the latest") and OS are you running?

I have since rebotted the laptop and that has done the trick. The same apps that were running before are running again and everything is working perfectly.

Thank you!
