Hi All,

We noticed some issues with the Publish Online service, which has been fixed and the details are as mentioned below:-

"Due to an issue in a backend service, documents published using InDesign Publish Online from 2023-11-07 09:50 UTC to 2023-11-08 15:09 UTC were not uploaded completely.

If you have published a new document or updated an existing document during this timeframe, you are recommended to re-publish that document to ensure it is published successfully.

All other documents published prior to and after this timeframe are not impacted."

If you are still having trouble with the publish online service, then please feel free to add a comment to this thread, and we will assist you in fixing the issue.

Regards,
Vivek

Hi there!
I'm still having issues. I've published, republished, refreshed the link, saved as another file, updated inDesign, saved another file again, published for reviews publically, and it still asks for a log in from my client (or when I'm testing from incognito.)

Is this happening because of the new updates?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It has been working just fine up until recently.

Same problem: the public link in the "share for review" function doesn't work for either new or old shares.
Impossible to access shared files without Adobe identification.
Does not work in France.
No public link possible = no client access = not serious
Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.

The malfunction concerns all public shared links (without authentication), not just newly published documents but also old links that are no longer accessible without identification.
It's not a problem of a missing image either. It doesn't work with a document without an image either.

Thank you

Hello,

Thanks for the quick reply, but I've just tested it and the problem is still there.
The problem is that the sharing links ask people who don't have an adobe account to log in or create an account, even though the sharing settings are set to "accessible to anyone who has the link".
This is a problem with all links, old and new. It is not resolved when the owner of the shared document disconnects and reconnects from the creative cloud, nor when a new link is deleted and re-created with a new document...
Thank you
