Review Link error 'Failed to export the PDF file'

Community Beginner ,
Apr 10, 2023 Apr 10, 2023

I have a 67-page document that I am trying to create a review link for, however I keep getting the below error when I try to share for review.

I have tried closing down both Id and CC and restarting, as well as saving the file under a different name. There are no errors on my preflight.

To clarify, I'm not trying to export as a PDF at this time, just create a review link of the file.

Any ideas?

Try to disable background tasks - https://creativepro.com/a-new-workaround-for-that-pesky-background-export-issue/ - and see if it helps.

What gets published for review is the PDF.

So it needs to export it.

Can you export the PDF normally?
If you are getting the same error - export 50% of the pages (1-30) and then if that works try 31-67 - for example.

Whatever side it fails on is the side that has the error.

Keep dividing the document in half until you find the problematic page(s).
