Rite in the Rain Loose Leaf Printing - templates?

Hi guys.

I have picked up some of this paper to print onto - Rite in the Rain - No. LL8511 Loose Leaf Copier Paper 300 Forms 4 5/8" x 7" White

I have a document set up with the individual pages - but not sure how to then set it up to print.

Is it possible to create a nested template? Where whatever I choose to print comes out in the right place?

I have played around with thumbnail printing - but that seems the wrong way to go about it.

Suggestions? Point me in the right direction?

Many thanks.

Have you downloaded the templates? There are templates for PDF, doc. ppt.

There are also separate template for front & back and they are already set up as 2up.

Don't place these in InDesign because you won't be able to access the text fields in the template.

If you have the PDF templates, just open it in Acrobat and the text fields are available for typing.

Also note these will only work with a laser printer. They won't work with an inkjet. The names says it all "Rite in the Rain"  (weatherproof) . An inkjet print would smear with the first drop of water.

Yes, have downloaded the templates.

I am wanting to print out a full layout, of various different styles - so it's not just text.

My preference would be to load up the template somehow into InDesign and be able to drop the selected pages onto the template.

There are for data books that are a bit modular, so trying to figure out a way I might be able to keep the document setup modular as well.

If you are printing on loose leaf paper then you set up the pages with margins that will accommodate the loose leaf holes on the left side of the page and a narrower margin on the right. Are you printing on both sides? If so then you will need every other page of your document set up with a wider margin on the right side. You can set up master pages for both page orientations. If you are printing this yourself on a laser or ink-jet printer and you need to print on both sides then you will have to make sure that your printer is capable of two-sided (aka duplex) printing. How to do this will vary on each individual printer so you will have to check your printer's documentation to figure out if and how to do this.

Not printing on both sides, so I was thinking along the lines of master pages as well.

However, is there a way to drop 'pages' onto 'pages' in InDesign?

I currently have a selection of design pages that I want to fit, 2 up onto the paper - it's semi-modular in nature - so that's my conundrum - I can lay it out manually,
