Hello All,

I am printing an 28 Page Saddle Stich Calendar, but when we print the Calendar is printing with what appears to be "Carry Over" on the right side of my top pages and the left side of my lower pages...

-I've attached screenshots of the actual printout as well as my INDD doc and my Exported PDF.

Project Details:

This is a 9.25in x 9.25 in Calendar

.125in bleed

Can anyone provide any insight on how to get rid of this carry over?

Thank you in advance!

- GA

It looks like you set your document up as facing pages which is why you are getting the "bleed" from the page before. The simplest way I would do it is to delete the overlap "bleed" in the pdf is you have acorbat pro and print from the pdf. There are many other things you could do but try that first

open the pdf in acrobat and look at the right hand side of the screen  and you will see edit. Click on edit and you can then select items and delete them

Hi @galex1ga , In the photo of the printed calendar the saddle stitched spine is below the image and above the month, but you have your InDesign document set up with the spine to the right of the image and left of the month.

InDesign lets you rotate the spread for viewing, so you should set up the spreads like this where the content is rotated counter clockwise with the spine above the month and below the image:

Then there is the option to rotate the spread for easy viewing:

When you Export the PDF set your Inside Bleed to 0

Hello Rob,

Thank you so much for this reply.

Quick Question: Is there a way to do this from my already created document? Or do I have to start over and do this from the very start ie: Create New Doc?

With a facing page document the Inside Bleed comes from the opposite page of the spread, so your existing PDF has the wrong bleed content on the left and right trim sides.

You should be able to rotate the page content counter clockwise. you have this:

And you need this:
