Same Font, 2 files but Indesign CC 17.2 doesn't recognize the Font which is installed

Hi All, I'm using Indesign CC 17.2, iMac 2020 - Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.

I have 2 files that use the same Font but one file doesn't recognize and the other gets it.

I tried to copy Document Fonts to the Indesign file which was not recognized but it didn't work. Event I un-install Indesign / Fonts many times. 

I copied the other which was recognized but automatically it changed to  "was not recognized" (What...!!!)

From the beginning everything is good and nothing happened.... until this crazy on!

We appreciate your patience. The issue is fixed with the latest InDesign version (17.2.1). Please update InDesign to the latest version and see if that helps.

 

If you still experience the issue on the 17.2.1 version, then please try resetting the preferences. It will fix the issue.

Hi fantachiro,

that's a new bug with InDesign 2022 version 17.2.

Best go back to version 17.1 or 17.0.1.

 

Support this bug report and vote for fixing the issue:

I downgraded the older version 17.1 but same issue.

But the issue has been solved by the Indesign 17.0 version. Reported the bug already and thanks for your help.
