Saving a file. When I tried to save, it takes me to print booklet

I need help. Since yesterday, I can not save a InDesign file I was working on.  When I hit Save, it takes to Print Booklet Box.  I can not do Save As either.

It's unlikely the person who posted this in 2021 will see your question. The answers given by @Peter Spier and @jmlevy are still the most likely answers. Does either of them work for you?

If not, the first thing to do is reset the preferences: Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting

    Woud it be possible that you have customized the shortcuts set and assigned Cmd S to “print booklet”?
