Saving Web PDF from Print Document without bleed showing?

This is so simple, but I haven't been able to find the answer. 

When I design a print layout (such as a 64 page booklet) with a bleed, when I save a PDF for web use, the sliver of the bleed is on the facing page in the PDF.  I tried changing the bleed to "0", but that didn't work.

How do I save a PDF without the bleed showing on the facing page??
