Hi,
I want to speed up a repetitive process.
I want to scale multiple images of varing proportions to all have the same height in one go.
currently I alighn them to the top and then scale them manually by dragging the frame and holding ctrl.
I feel there must be a faster way and I cant figure out a way with the transform options in the properties panel.
Is there a script of command that can do this?
Thanks
Use an object style for the images:

Peter, maybe I'm reading the question differently than you, but that's not working for me. Here's an illustration of what I think the OP is talking about.
Here I have four images of different heights aligned to the top, with a guide line snapped to the bottom of the apple. I want all of the images to be the same height as the apple, so I select the cucumbers, hold Shift and Command while I drag the bottom of the image up to snap to the guide, and I get this:
…but when I select the last two objects and transform again, either together or separately, they scale to the amount that I scaled the cucumbers, so I get this:
If the images are already placed, I don't know of a way to make them all the same height other than the way the OP is doing it, but if you want the images to all be the same height when placing, I use what I think we call "gridify" (select all the images to place at the same time, click once but don't let up the mouse button, drag out an area and hit the up or right arrows to create a grid, and then release the mouse button once you have the number of grid spaces as you need to place all of the images). If the images are of different heights and you want them all to be the same, make sure that the grid blocks are much wider than any item would need to fit the width, and you will end up with image frames that are too wide, but while they are still selected, hit Option Command C and all of the frames will be fit to the images, which will all be the same height. You can then use the align function to gather them to something that's easier to deal with. If you want to fit the widths, use the up arrow, but make sure that the heights are all too big.

Not working for me, either, on further testing.

Or select all and apply that style.
