Scale X Percentage Broken in 19.0

Just updated to inDesign 19.0 and I've notived when using the Scale x Percentage manual inputs or grabbing on the handles of a text box or object while holding shift + cmd, the percentage will temporarily change while performing the scale, but once I let go and commit the change it resets to the previous percentage. So for instance I have an object that is scaled to 100% and I scale it up to 150% and enter or unclick, the object visually scales larger but the percentage value at the top in the properties menu remains at 100%. Any idea how to fix?

I did a bit more research and founf out adobe added a cool new feature in the preferences.

General > Adjust Scaling Percentage (✅)

Click that one on to make it normal

I'm pretty sure it's a normal behaviour - for some time.

Thanks Robert, I've never noticed this before 19.0. Seems like an odd feature, dont really see why anyone would want to have it turned on? 🤷🏻‍♂
