Screen Redraw Bug

I'm having an regular issue where the screen reguraly fails to redraw properly while I'm doing regular typing and formatting. This leaves me with doubled text that won't update (see image below).
I'm able to force a redraw by zooming in and out.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?

It will cut down on guesswork if you post your OS and the version of InDesign you're running.

I have seen this bug with both CC 2020 and CC 2021, Honestly, I have looked at it as minor compared to most bugs simply because in addition to changing the screen view as you've been doing, I've found that just clicking on the screen with the regular selection tool also clears it.

this happens to me often. i move to different page and comeback or zoom in and out.

Shift + F5 will force a redraw.

I have experienced this as well on Mac, with different OS, and different ID versions. Unfortnuately, I have not been able to pinpoint a cause.
