Hi, unfortunately I can't write scripts and actions still aren't available in Indesign CC 2018.

I hope you guys can help me with a script. I tried myself once, but it didn't work at all.

Steps I frequently need to do.

- copy object

- paste in place

- delete content of the object

- enlarge width & height 2 mm

- give object line of 0,25 pt

- send to background

Are these actions something to create an outline frame around a picture?

Why don't you just create an object style to those graphic frames where the

images are applied?

Of course this could be done using script, but... Is it really needed?

If yes, please, be more specific about your context. You want to make this

step-by-step with an object selected? For every object you select you want

to run the script, one by one? Or you want to perform the task to every

graphic frame in your document?

Hello Luis,

Thanks for the help. Why didn't I think of an object style before. (My stupidity)
