Script to change width of a frame to column width

Is it possible to write a script so that when run on a selected frame, it resizes the width only (keeping the left of the frame where it is) to the right edge of the column the frame is currently in?

If it's not possible I would still be interested on the same thing where there's only a single column in the doc.  Thanks.

Now I re-read your post. You want: "keeping the left of the frame where it is".
Here I made a quick & dirty version -- removed some code -- so the object always moves to the right column.

Hi @Kasyan Servetsky

There's something wrong with your script.
Can you make the image fit the type area or column width, scaled proportionally by width.
And not just the frame fit.

@dublove

Do you plan on hijacking every thread with some script?
