Search for Missing Links in This Folder does not work?

New Here ,
Dec 21, 2022 Dec 21, 2022

Hi everyone,

I have an InDesign document with numerous missing links, and for some reason, the option "Search for Missing Links in This Folder" does not seem to work. For example, I'll locate one file and I know another missing link is in the same folder, yet InDesign does not seem to automatically link it as well.

I remember from previous InDesign versions that it would automatically search the referenced folder for other misisng links as well.

Anyone knows what's up?

Thanks!

How about selecting the missing links in the panel and choosing the option "Relink to folder"? Does it work? Does this happen with a particular document?

I don't remember when the "Search for Missing Links..." has not worked.

You might try restoring your InDesign preferences and caches:
