Search the Links panel

Is there a way to search the links panel? I have hundreds of images and I need to be ablbe to locate them quickly using the filename. A search box at the top would be a great thing.

There's no built-in way to do this.

Can be achieved with scripts. (Not sure if there are any such scripts or third-party tools readily available.)
